Best night vision scopes
Digital night vision scopes under $1,000 and above, ranked by how much ground you see at 100 yards, then price, from each maker's own specs.

How this list is ranked
- Field width: how much ground fills the screen at 100 yards. Wider finds the whole group faster.
Field width
How many feet of ground fill the screen at 100 yards. Wider makes scanning faster; narrower usually means more detail on the animal.
- Then price: on a further tie, the cheaper one.
One spot per product line: a model from the same line, or one with the same sensor and lens under a newer name, is listed under the best of them instead of taking a spot of its own. Only current models sold through US dealers with a published US price. Nobody paid for a spot, and affiliate links never change the order. Digital night vision is not ranked on identification distance: in good light the pixel math says hundreds of yards, but at night the infrared illuminator runs out first, and makers rarely publish how far it reaches. Phosphor color (green or white) is a preference, not a grade, so it does not rank. How we measure.

What is left out
Discontinued models, which sell used on eBay; brands with no US dealer network; and models whose maker publishes too little about the sensor or lens to calculate a distance. All of them are on the night vision scopes page.
Prices are the US price on file for each model, or the maker's list price where marked MSRP. Retailers change them often; the retailer's page is the current one.
